Recent years, the development of the national economy grows rapid. Due tothe growing industrial use of electricity, a large number Inductive load is usedin the grid. Voltage deviation and voltage fluctuations appeared in grid. Reactivepower is a critical affect of the safe operation of the power grid. In order toeffectively achieve the reactive power compensation, we must first get anaccurate measurement of the value of reactive power.Currently there are many ways in reactive power solving. Using the methodof Hilbert transform is a more effective way to calculation of reactive power. Wemake each harmonic voltage translation90°in the frequency domain, and makeit multiplied by the current sampling in the time domain. The advantage of thisalgorithm is that there is no phase shift error in phase translation. The designbased on the traditional Hilbert transform by preprocessing work windowingfunction, which effectively improves the measurement accuracy.Traditional reactive power meters are in8/16bit microcontroller or DSP+ARM architecture as the control center. Because of the limited functionality itself, the microcontroller can not achieve high-precision measurement of reactivepower. There is a real-time problem in processors in DSP+ARM architecture. The performance of a new generation of FPAG has been constantly improved, while the cost is much lower than the past. We can build their own hardwarecircuits based on internal integration of a large number of FPGA logic cellmodules. Because the SOPC use internal wiring, system has a higher reliability. We use the SOPC technology to design a Hilbert transform to solve thereactive power meter with high accuracy, timeliness, and other characteristics.
