Conventional electronic measuring devices in measurement operations are more complex, enormous in size and cost. these shortcomings limit the use of conventional electronic measuring devices. In order to improve them and expand the scope of use of electronic measuring devices, the paper designs a new type of hand-held electronic measuring device. the device is simple to use, covers an area of small, wide measuring range and so on. The device mainly uses master STM32F103 VC to respond to users' actions and dispatch the appropriate data.Use EP4CE6E22C8N( data processing component) to control data-processing frequencies, and the measuring device has a digital Voltmeter(main voltage measurement), digital oscilloscope(main peak voltage, frequency measurement), as well as signal generators(main signal waveform), and other functions.This paper develops the handheld type electronic measurement device mainly from the following two parts: 1) hardware system of development, in the part mainly design measurement device power module, measurement device displayed module, measurement device signal produced module(in the module, mainly to design power zoom circuit, attenuation circuit, filter circuit, and number die conversion circuit), measurement device digital shows wave module(in the module, mainly to design number die conversion circuit, triggered circuit, gain circuit, Attenuation circuit and DC Exchange coupled circuit), measurement device voltage measurement module(in the module, mainly to design rectifier circuit and points pressure circuit), measurement device FPGA Module, and measurement device ARM. Propose the specific method to combine digital and simulation; 2) software system of development, in this part, mainly design human-computer interaction interface(the part mainly to design interface operation button, provide users a friendly and interactive higher operation interface, which can display image according to users' instruction and transplant X-GUI), and lower data scheduling and processing circuit(the part mainly to provide support for the module function to be completed, mainly use the FPGA operation resources).In order to reduce the power consumption of handheld electronic measuring devices and extend the time of using handheld electronic measuring devices, this paper attaches great importance to the power consumption of the componentin handheld electronic measuring apparatus circuit, power supply, memory chips and other components. the components that are used not only ensure stable performance of the system, but also ensure that the device power consumption is low.The performance of handheld electronic measuring device is the last to be tested.After testing, we find the performance of the device is good.Device performance can meet design requirements. And it can meet the functional requirements of the equipment.Conventional measuring instrument is very expensive, huge and complicated to operate. In this thesis, an electronic measuring system based on ARM and FPGA is introduced.
