With the rapid development of society and economics, the pressure on city traffic isbecoming more and more serious. Metro is becoming one of the main means oftransportation in the development of the modern cities with the feature of big carryingcapacity and environmental protection and high efficiency in evacuating incentive passengerflow. But the metro with complicated structure locate in deeper underground where there is nosunshine, which brings great difficulties for emergency relief, once emergencies such as fireaccident happen, it will cause casualties and economic losses. Now metro train fire alarmmainly depends on artificial monitoring, the present metro section emergency lighting systemcan realize automatic shift between artificial illumination and emergency lighting whenartificial illumination is invalid, but it cannot meet the requirements of the development of themetro section emergency lighting because of lack of effective evacuation route instructions.Hence, the study of metro section emergency lighting system with the function of the metrotrain fire detection has important applied value and practical significance.This paper choose metro and metro train as background, aims at the function and featureof metro train and the interval tunnel, analyses functional requirements and system structureof metro interval emergency lighting evacuation guidance system, proposes overall designplan of the system. It makes deep research on the problem of the metro train fire detection,and design the algorithm of metro train fire detection based on image edge scattering. Themain contents of this paper include three parts. The first part describes the composition andmain function of metro interval emergency evacuation system and design the system overallscheme; The second part discusses the algorithm of metro train fire detection based onimage processing, including the basic principle of the metro train fire detection, and thedesign and complementation of the fire algorithm based on image edge scattering; The thirdpart is the detailed hardware and software design of the system, including the metro train firedetention software, emergency lighting controller, emergency lighting centralized powersupply and distribution of electric apparatus. When fire occurs on the train, the metro fire detection system acquire monitoring imagethrough the video monitoring system, and recognize the fire’s occurrence through the imageprocessing, the send fire alarm to the emergency lighting controller. Secondly, the emergencycontroller generate evacuating plans which the is sent to the emergency lamp; Finally,personnel are safely guided to the nearest evacuation site. While in ordinary circumstances,the operating status of evacuation equipment are dynamically monitored with the system andmanagement and maintenance decisions for building emergency evacuation equipment areaided.
