Research On The Cost Control And Management Of The Highway Construction Project

As the national economic development artery, traffic construction has closely connection with the national welfare and the people’s livelihood, which has received national attention and extensive social support.In recent years, the construction size of highroad is increasing and the construction pace is faster, especially the highway construction ushered in a booming period in China. But the project management of expressway in China is still facing many problems, especially the project cost control and management problems, which seriously plagued the overall and long-term development of highway. Starting from the analysis and budget of the highway project cost, and based on the theory of the project cost control and cost management, this paper analyzes the current situation, the cost control and management of the highway and the existing problems in China. Besides, this paper takes the Huchang expressway project construction cost control and management as an example to analyze the "super three" problems which is ubiquitous in the current highway construction, and put forward the effective measures of cost control and management of the whole process of the implementation of the highway, in order to ease huge financial pressure of the highway construction.
