The Design And Application Of Ecological Revetment In Channel Regulation

The construction of ecological revetment is a development trend of modern river. It isthe combination of modern water conservancy and civil engineering, environmentalscience, biological science, aesthetics and other disciplines in the integration of port andwaterway engineering system. Ecological revetment by green plants or the combination ofmaterials of green plants and civil engineering, for protection of river slope, helps toimprove river water quality.In this paper，starting from the application of ecological revetment in river regulation。The research content is divided into three parts: the first part expounds the definition,development of ecological revetment function, characteristics and types of ecologicalrevetment, at home and abroad and the design of ecological revetment facility target,research on ecological revetment technology development trend are put forward; thesecond part describes the design and implementation of ecological revetment; the latterpart of a combination of Soochow University Yangcheng Lake Campus of river regulationproject, in river harnessing of practical application of ecological revetment construction.The capacity of the flood discharge, self-cleansing and safety are improved.
