As the number of domestic flights increases rapidly, air traffic controller is playing more and more important role in civil aviation. High quality radar signal can help controllers give correct orders to pilots, which will avoid corruption among aircrafts and promote flight safety. How to ensure the quality of radar signal is a key issue for air traffic control. To design a radar data analyzing system that can pick out high quality signal fuse data and make record of information transmitted by the signal is of great importance for the safety of air traffic control.The artical empolders a quality analyzing system of civil radar data based on pattern matching algorithm. The functions accomplished include resolution and distribution of data, analyzing and quantification of quality, fusion and filtering of multi-information, radar data record. The resolution of data can convert multiple types of protocol to the same kind of protocol. Since each code in radar data frame has its unique meaning, the valuable codes are extracted to check the quality of signal in quality analyzing module. Additionally, the analyzing results are quantized. An improved pattern matching algorithm called I-BMH (Improve-BMH) is presented in the article. It computes the distance towards right direction and mis-matching code simultaneously. The algorithm decides the distance by using the position of next code in current window and the first code of pattern string, which will enhance the efficiency of pattern matching. The analysis of signal quality can be achieved effectively by using this algorithm. Multiple radar signals are weighted fused in multi-radar fusion module. And output signal is processed in Alpha-Beta filter, which will achieve more accurate position information. The radar data record module can record original data and the data analyzing result, it also can create log file according to date, which will provide a means for radar data analysis and aviation accident cognizance.Real radar signals are transmitted to the system to test the outcome. The results show that the software accomplishes all the expected functions. It is able to distinguish the quality of multiple signals correctly and promptly by the software, which will provide powerful protection for the safety of civil aviation.
