With the development of science and technology, the Li pedelec is more and morecommon in foreign countries and it becomes research hotspot for many companies.However, testing platform for this new type of Li pedelec hasn’t received due attention andsynchronous development.This paper mainly studies testing platform for mid-drive system based on labviewplatform. In this platform, road cycling is simulated by magnetic powder brake, humancycling motion is simulated by servo motor, torque and speed are collected in real-time bytorque and speed sensor. Sensor data is collected through data collection, then analyzedand calculated through Labview and actuators are controlled by data acquisition card andserial port communication. As a result, unified testing of several key performances ofpedelec mid-drive system is realized in whole testing platform, the key performanceincluding aging testing, torque adjusting and motor characteristic curve.From the test results: Testing platform of pedelec mid-drive system based on Labviewhas stronger performance, it’s flexible and convenient and it not only shortens cycle timeof each electric control unit and the vehicle testing, also reduces the cost of the equipmentand related maintenance costs.
