Classical Suzhou Gardens roots in Chinese traditional culture, which has a long history.Classical Suzhou Gardens is a broad and deep garden-form system. Suzhou landscapedgardens in the world system of garden occupies an important place. Classical Suzhou Gardensin Chinese cultural circle produce a deep effect. In the18th century, classical Suzhou gardenis also widely known in Europe which gave rise “The Chinese garden hot”. Suzhoulandscaped garden, the northern imperial garden and western neat style garden have differentnature and design techniques, so these are different styles of garden-form, through thehistorical review and research. We can easily obtain the conclusions.Classical Suzhou Garden is the most concentrated and most representative examples, andthese gardens are saved completely. Classical Suzhou Gardens are different from the style ofnorthern royal garden that solemn design techniques, instead of using the small, lively andelegant way to express the idea of the design. Delicate lightweight construction, wooden partspainted tan, gray stone tiles, white walls matched with flowers composed of water and stone.So Suzhou gardens can better show the Chinese society and the view of art, the highestaesthetic taste and the ideal state of life since ancient time.The “opposite scenery” is an important component of classic garden-form. Throughresearching the methods of the “Opposite scenery”, we can get the good guide for futuredesign work. In this paper, I want to combine the theory of opposite scenery, and analysisthese techniques and practical application. Finally, we can get a sound conclusion to guide thedesign of future.In the21st century, the environment has become a remarkable problem. The relationshipbetween human and nature are changing from the hostile to friendly, and people are eager toreturn to the natural environment, even continuing to pursue the taste. The “opposite scenery”of Suzhou Classical Garden is reflected in the traditional culture and aestheticaccomplishment, and a lot of papers make the “constitute scenery” approach as a startingpoint of researching “opposite scenery” method. I research seven gardens in Suzhou, but I donot seeking covers a wide range, I just want to study carefully.
