| Materials chemistry experiment building of the JiangPu campus of Nanjing University of Technology is a key project of the school; it is a comprehensive building which consists of a national engineering center, key laboratories, public housing and elated laboratory, office, auxiliary room. The scheme is designed from the feasibility malysis of the project and base condition, combined with the various relevant factors, on the analysis and comparison of the process of gradually to perfect scheme. This thesis focus on three aspects:the overall layout of the buildings with mountainous environment; organization of function space in laboratory; coordination with the original campus architectural style.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part mainly introduces the research background, research object, and the domestic and foreign research results, finally set the whole frame of the article. The second part analyzes the feasibility of the project and the base of the project and put forward the emphasis of the study. The third part is the main body of the article, emphasizes in the overall layout to in the light of its general trend, and mountain symbiosis; in ensuring the use of the organization of function space, pay attention to the versatility and sustainability of the project; facade style architecture should not only integrate into the environment, but also to the original building structure of the campus; finally the energy-saving design are introduced.
