With the gradually rise of sea life, as sea entertainment carrier, yachts are more andmore popular China’s yacht industry is still in its infancy, talent shortage, lack of designtheory and construction process, such issues are particularly prominent. The research forthe development of hull is stagnant stage, in the digital design and processing technologyis increasingly mature today, the design and manufacture of the hull is still stay in theoffset table to calculate the type of one or two-dimensional body lines drawing-cuttingwood with body lines-production of wood model stage, fall behind with the design andconstruction process has been diiffcult to meet the current market yacht accuracy and thedemands of rapid manufacturing, therefore, to develop a set of design and manufacturingprocesses which can achieve rapid digital processing becomes the urgent needs of theyacht manufacturing.Aiming at the domestic and international yacht commonly used deep-V hull has beenstudied, and came up with parametric design of deep V-shaped hull yacht method; Clearingup the usual way and the problems of China develop a yacht hull currently; Through thestudy and analysis of the geometric characteristics of the deep V-shaped hull,demonstrated the feasibility of parameterized design ideas in deep-V hull design;Parametric correlation method, key issues and significance had been studied, summed theways of parameterization applied to the deep-V hull design process. Analysis of thecharacteristics of deep V-hull ship and the corresponding performance studies, deepV-shaped hull resistance and key research carried out for the key factors influencing theperformance of drag and seakeeping of deep-V hull, to provide theoretical guidance ofsubsequent hull design. For the status quo by buying foreign yacht hull, reproductionmolds, developed a theoretical system of parametric design construction on the yacht hullbased on NURBS modeling built thoughts, proposed a way to independently design, touse the data processing platform Excel, data transformation to model platform Rhino andVB programming language on deep V-shaped hull parameterized initial implementation;and through the design of a48tf deep V-hull yacht to conducted experiments onparametric design process, in the final, to validate the performance of the hull with parametric design, carried out design calculations and simulation analysis.Studies show that parametric design methods on deep V-shaped hull proposed toachieve practicable, resulting hull performance with better performance. Thus, the designfor deep-V hull will no longer be confined to specialized research institutions with lots oftest equipment, it can enhance the development capabilities of own brand of SMB. Tochange the current design of the yacht industry, the lack of a complete theory, it will be ofgreat significance in turning the system by buying and duplicating foreign hull status.
