| With the rapid development of urbanization and real estate industry in China, theconstruction of a new city boomed in Chinese large and medium-sized cities, especially newresidential areas with perfect facilities, the convenient transportation and exquisiteenvironment. Second newest residential areas, which have built in the1990s, have someproblems presenting in two accepts that is supporting facilities, greening and the environmentetc. In addition, it is difficult to adopt the way of large open to build to promote humansettlement environment due to its constructions. This paper takes the north of Hexi district inNanjing for example, aims to analysis the present situation of district characteristics andexplores wishes of renewal planning among community residents, which is established inhighlight about narrowing the difference of new residential area and residential environment.Finally, we try to put forward upgrading strategies suiting to the north of Hexi district.This paper focuses on analyzing the background and present situation of districtcharacteristics of second newest residential areas in Nanjing. Furthermore, this paper takes thehuman settlement environment promotion of the north of Hexi district in Nanjing for example.In addition, we adopt an analysis pattern i.e."problem and demand-condition-renewalplanning-improve assessment" to put forward measures of renewal planning.This article is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, mainlyexpressed the origin and background of the research, defined the object of research, learnedrelated theoretical researches, and identified research priorities and methods. Then, the secondchapter described the formational background of second newest residential areas in Nanjing,and focused on analysis on the present characteristic differences between the old and secondnewest residential areas. The third chapter mainly described the human settlementenvironment promotion in the north of Hexi district as a study case to analysiscomprehensively and explore what are the residents’ satisfaction and demands. Then, thecurrent main problems are concluded. The fourth chapter is the most important in this paper, ituses "problem-demand" oriented overall renewal strategies to put forward suggestionsrespectively.The fifth chapter is conclusion and Outlook, summed the shortcomings of thepaper, and hoped this study can be further improved continuously in the future research. |
