With the rapid development of the port enterprises, port throughputs also constantly refresh their records. However, the growing competition brought new challenges and opportunities for all ports.Break-bulk library field is the main place for loading, unloading and storage of goods. It plays an important role in cohesion and adjustment of the whole processes of carriage of goods by waterway. Based on current situation of Longkou port, this thesis analyzed parameters affecting the efficiency in break-bulk library field, including break-bulk library field of the current situation from the operating indicators and report, production organization, labor organization, the customer operation process, break-bulk production operating system and break-bulk normalization solutions for port break-bulk library performance evaluation index analysis. In emphasis, we compared the break-bulk throughput data from2009to2014and analyzed their change trend. Based on these data, we established an index system for evaluating grocery library field performance and optimize it. Combined with the demonstration analysis on the actual production situation of Longkou port, we can propose helpful advice to increase the efficiency of the port break-bulk library field.Bag, grocery, food, wood and cement bag of feed, etc., are the most important cargo in Longkou port. This process expands the influence of the Longkou harbor.Currently, many major ports establish their strategic goals to guide their development. Based on the background, this thesis selects the Longkou port break-bulk as the research object, and the statistical analysis method used and the conclusion acquired in this thesis can be certainly used as reference by other regionally ports for their development of regional port break-bulk area.
