The Research Of The Management For Port Equipment's Parts In Port's Storehouse

The port equipment is the completion of the port cargo's handling, transport and stockpiling. Therefore, the completeness level of the port equipment and its modernization and technical state in working are the premise and guarantee of the port's smooth operation. The management of port equipment directly affects the utilization of port equipment and the fund's operation. So the scientific management of the spare parts can minimize the number of spare parts inventory, variety and amount of funds. It also can increase the utilization of spare parts and meet the needs of efficient production. This problem is researched by the port operators, equipment design and R & D units as a major issue.In this paper, we studied the port spares inventory management. We hope our research can contribute to the improving of the management for our country's ports. In this paper, we make an innovative on the choosing of development methodology and development strategies. For the development methodology, we use the combination of life-cycle method and object-oriented development methodology. For the development strategies, we use the combination of "Top down" and "bottom-up" development strategies.Firstly the article defines the relevant concepts which can make the theoretical groundwork for the following research. Then we make the Tianjin port as an example and do research on the management of port equipment's parts. Next we build the management system of the Port Equipment's Parts. Then the management system of the Port Equipment's Parts has been designed. Finally, we analyze the implementation of the management system of the Port Equipment's Part.
