Research On Production Scheduling Optimization Of Longkou Port

The shipping industry has been developing gradually, but the contradiction of production capacity in port and the transportation demand is becoming increasingly obvious. Generally, the production efficiency in port can not meet the growing demand of port throughput. Longkou Port is also being faced with the problem. So, we need to optimize the production planning of Longkou Port to improve the production efficiency of Longkou Port.The production scheduling in port is very important to the economic efficiency, so every port should improve their own quality of production scheduling to improve the level and the quality of the service in the whole port. Therefore, in the procedure of the modernization of the port in our country, the ports should be devoted to the developing and using the advanced production scheduling methods. This paper will study the production scheduling organizational processes in port enterprises, and there will be certain theoretical and practical significance.This paper mainly study from the following aspects:first,the present situation in Longkou Port, as well as the current production organization structure and the production processess. There also will introduce the circadian work planning and ship jobs planning processes.Then, it optimizes the production and operation in Longkou Port. Finally, it put forward suggestions about the production scheduling in Longkou Port mainly from six aspects:the production operating machine should be updated; the unvalue-added aspects should be excluded from the production process; the stuff in the port should be trained regularly; and the production capacity of ports needs to be improved; the information platform needs to be further strengthened; the scheduling system needs to be parallel processed; the production planning needs more flexibility.
