To improve urban water companies water drainage pipe network management level and service quality, to adapt to the needs of urban planning, construction and management, implementation of water pipe network planning and design, transportation and distribution management, document management, repair decision aided and comprehensive information query statistics feature, this paper developed a comprehensive management of water affairs group network information system of Hangzhou city.In the process of design and the Hangzhou water pipe network integrated management information system implementation, firstly analyzes the present situation of network management and the existing problems, on the basis of investigation, has carried on the system analysis and the overall design, using the method of software engineering, puts forward function design of system and subsystem, and a detailed description of the function of each subsystem and the related module. From the angle of design and development, with geographic information system as the technical support, combining the actual water enterprises network daily management planning needs,-carries on two times of developments in the ArcGIS platform and its basis, so that the comprehensive management of water pipe network information system and give full play to the powerful processing ability of GIS in the spatial and attribute data, so as to realize the function of statistics, query, retrieval, the network chart print output, pipeline repair and analysis, the ultimate realization of the dynamic, real-time, efficient management of city water resources. The research and development of information system for the promotion of Hangzhou water companies in the overall management and service level, has important practical significance to improving the urban the effective utilization of water resources.
