| In recent years, the transportation infrastructure developed rapidly in our country, andthe highway construction in full swing. As an important part of the bridge, deck pavementcan reduce the impact of the traffic load on the bridge deck, and ensure driving comfort andsafety. Therefore, study on performance of bridge deck pavement is extremely important.This paper relies on "typical freeway viaduct bridge deck structure and materialresearch" project, focusing on research deeply design of the combination of the pavementmaterial and the selection of waterproof bonding layer, improveing design of the existingbridge deck material combinations, comparing road performance of waterproof adhesivelayer, to extend the service life of bridge deck pavement, improve the durability of bridgedeck pavement, and finally presenting an optimal combination of deck pavement andpresentand waterproof adhesive layer for climate and environment of seasonal frozen area. In thispaper, the following research works are carried out:(1) Base bitumen, coarse and fine aggregate and filler used in asphalt concrete aretested, of which the result all meet the relevant requirements in the technical specification. Inorder to improve high temperature performance and durability of asphalt, using SBSmodifier which is the most widely used for asphalt modification, and SBS modified bitumenof different dosage are tested for penetration, softening point, ductility, elastic recovery.Comprehensive performance test results of3%,4%and5%ash content SBS modifiedasphalt,5%ash content make the best, dosage of5%SBS modified asphalt is asphaltconcrete binder in the actual project.(2) Based on the design of asphalt mixture mix in upper and lower, determine thesynthetic gradation curve of AC-13C SBS modified asphalt mixture and AC-16C asphaltmixture, and get the optimum asphalt ratio of SBS modified asphalt in the upper and lowerasphalt by experimenta validation. Through rutting test, beam bending tests and freeze-thawsplitting test on the asphalt mixture in upper and lower, to verify the high temperature low temperature cracking resistance and water stability of AC-13C SBS modified asphalt mixtureand AC-16C asphalt mix.(3) Through the comparison and selection of material,3kinds of waterproof adhesivematerial including the7611epoxy asphalt, SBS modified bitumen and AMP-100second-order reaction waterproof adhesive material are determined to be alternative material.First, the basic physical and mechanical properties of three kinds of waterproof adhesivematerial are determined through the basic performance test. Thereafter, oblique shear test,direct shear test and direct tensile test are took to study their road performance. Through thestudy found, with respect to the7611epoxy bitumen and SBS modified asphalt binder,AMP-100second-order reaction waterproof adhesive material has a higher ramp shearstrength, direct shear strength and direct tensile strength. |
