With the rapid development of economy and a sharp rise in the consumption ofoil resources, energy and environmental issues have attracted national attentionincreasingly. The technology of hydraulic hybrid has many advantages, such as highenergy efficiency, high power density and environmental protection and so on. It hasbeen a hotspot in research by many businesses and universities. The features ofhydraulic hybrid make this certain technology widely used in construction machineryand other heavy vehicles. The truck crane, which has features such as large qualityand frequent starts and stops, is especially suitable for hydraulic hybrid research. In this paper, the control system of hydraulic hybrid truck crane is the mainobject, focusing on the control strategy and the software and hardware developmentof the controller.A front located parallel is proposed firstly. And three common working modelshas been set, to which analyze and design the control strategy and process accordingto the structural characteristics and the demand of the models.Using AMESim builds simulation models of the original and hydraulic hybridsystem. The effect of control strategy on integrated performance is researched bysimulation analysis. The development of the hardware and software system is based onMATLAB/Simulink and dSPACE, and has been used in experimental vehicle.Through the analysis of the experimental data and a series of test verify thecorrectness of control strategy and simulation analysis. This study provides a theoretical basis for the application of hydraulic hybridtechnology in the field of mechanical engineering, and has a certain theoretical valueand practical significance for the product development of hydraulic hybrid engineering machinery.
