Applying the Internet of Things technology to the enterprise logistics managementcan perceive the assembly logistics information effectively and improve the efficiency ofassembly logistics management. In this paper, we research the application of Internet ofThings in the process of assembly logistics management based on the current situation ofenterprise, providing a new method to the enterprise assembly logistics management.Firstly, in order to solve the problems existing in the assembly workshop, an overallarchitecture of assembly logistics management system is built based on the Internet ofThings technology by analyzing the system function requirements, which includingperception layer, network layer and application layer.Secondly, the assembly logistics information is classified by analyzing the logisticsprocess of assembly manufacturing workshop. Aiming at the specialty of assemblylogistics information and different perceptive technologies, we combine the twotechnologies of bar-code and radio frequency identification in assembly materials’identification and perception and discuss the assembly materials’ identification andperception technology respectively. On this basis, we further research the perception ofreal-time status information of work-in-process product and the system integration. Then,we discuss the database design of the assembly logistics management system, includingconceptual design, logical design and physical design.Finally, we discuss the develop technology of assembly logistics managementsystem and expound the assembly logistics management system function module such asbasic information management, material supply management, workshop logisticsmonitoring, work-in-process product status monitoring management and so on. Theachievement of this paper is verified by the assembly logistics management system.
