Onboard recorder is able to record some of the important parameters of the missile bothin the bore and the outside. However it is difficult to undertake the search because of thecomplex terrain and the broad expense of landing. On the other hand, more and more peoplelike taking the wild adventure, but it is extremely hard to search and explore the peopleendanger in the wild for a variety of reasons, such as the complex geographical environmentand the lack of the self-help knowledge.UAV has the advantages of the simple structure and the low cost in shape. UAV can flyin the air for a long time and go through some dangerous and unexplored areas by remotecontrol, which could effectively ensure the safety of the unit operators. It is just theseadvantages that make it widely used in military and civilian fields. The radio positioningtechnology is also widely used for the strong interference capacity of the radio signal, the highprecision and the strong reliability as well as the extreme convenience of the radio positioningin reality. Based upon the advantages of UAV and the development of radio positioningtechnology, we could come up with a radio searching and positioning system by making usingof the UAV for equipped platform, which provides technical support for the target searchterms, such as the recovering of onboard recorder and the wild searching and rescue of thepeople in distress.With the basic research concerning radio features and radio positioning algorithm, thissubject introduces radio search positioning system based on UAV under the background of therecovering of the onboard recorder. The system including GPS positioning module, wirelesscommunication module, storage module, central control module and so on, combines the GPSand radio positioning technology. The wireless communication module receives theinformation transmitted from the beacon device. The system stores the strength of the radio signal and the current GPS positioning of UAV after confirming the relevant informationbelongs to the beacon by comparing the received data. Then the computer read theinformation in the storage module via RS232serial port when the UAV returns to the ground.The location of the beacon device could be estimated by using RSSI positioning algorithm,then the acquired information concerning the geographic location could be shown on acomputer map software interface. Then taking measures to search effectively.Through simulation testing, we achieved the positioning of the searching goal, then wecan recover the search targets quickly. This system is of great help to the recovering of theonboard recorder for its features such as high accuracy, low cost and fast movement.
