In recent years, due to terrorist attacks, fires, earthquakes and explosions and so on, The collapse accidents of high-rise building often happened. As a common type of structure widely used in high-rise and super high-rise building, composite beams have a great contribution to the resistance of collapse for its excellent mechanical properties, so it is specifically profound to study its mechanical properties under impact load. This paper is mainly about a study of the mechanical properties for the stud connectors of composite beams considering the influence of concrete slab to it. By the fall-weigh test machine in Hunan University, the push-over test will be done on15the stud-connectors of composite beams to study further on the mechanical properties of the stud connectors. According to the contents of this study, the specific work is summarized as follows:(1) Static push-out test will be processed on specimens with different forms of concrete plate loaded by jack, to gain stress distribution of studs, relative displacement between steel beam and concrete plate to study the shear-resistance ability and load-displacement curve slip-resistance ability of stud-connector of different form of concrete plate, predicting the dynamic mechanical property of corresponding push-over specimen.(2) Impact test will be processed by using the high-performance drop-weight test machine of Hunan University to study influence of the layout of profiled steel sheet, amount of impact energy, the effect of strain rate effect to failure mode, shear-resistance ability of studs, slip-resistance capacity(3) The test results of static will be compared with dynamic test, summarizing dynamic behavior of the stud-connector.
