With rapid construction of the light rail, subway, EMU and the high-speed rail, rail transit flourish. The Ministry of Railways separation between government and enterprises, self-made design and production requirements in the bidding process.The introduction of the vehicle converter control unit from Siemens, Bombardier, Alstom, Toshiba, etc. they but do not change the structure of the vehicle converter, and subject to the new technology, also the cost is high. Therefore, we need to design the vehicle converter contril unit and perfect control algorithm implementation.The hardware design of the vehicle converter control unit is mainly based on these relevant design requirements and interface files of the vehicle converter, with the control algorithm design control unit for implementing the AC-DC-AC, AC-DC and DC-DC converter control.The hardware design of the vehicle converter control unit involves several areas:the EMC of DC source design, digital input andoutput isolation design, analog filter circuit design, temperature sensor sampling circuit design, speed signal processing circuit design, IGBT drive and protection circuit design.The main validation of the hardware design includes three parts:desktop board-level testing and cameras joint commissioning, DSPACE-Hardware-In-Loop-Simulation, build in the subway inverter drag the actual motor control verification.
