| Especially in recent years, city centre regeneration under the influence of urban rail transit is gradually getting more and more attention. Developed regions in Asia are recognized as the world’s urban rail transit construction successful regions, and also bring a lot of positive impact to city centre regeneration. It is worth to explore and summarize the development process and the successful experience of the research on city centre regeneration under the guidance of urban rail transit of Asia for the theory and practice Chinese city centre regeneration.Back to the history and process of western countries, Asia area and China, city centre regeneration in western countries has undergone early urban renewal, urban reconstruction, urban revitalization, neighborhood updates and urban redevelopment, urban regeneration, urban renaissance six stages. Asia has experienced four stages:early urban renewal, large-scale reconstruction, redevelopment and protection, regeneration. China also experienced early urban renewal, groping attempt, stagnation, urban revitalization, urban reconstruction and urban redevelopment six stages. On the basis of combing development process, comparing city centre regeneration of western countries, Asia area and China, and identifying the gap between China and developed nations, and future development direction of Chinese city centre regeneration.This paper selects Tokyo and Hong Kong as typical representatives of the developed regions of Asia, and detailed surveys and studies classical city cases, and summarizes their experience success. And then, detailed researching on2classical city of Mainland China: Tianjin and Shenzhen, and pointing out Chinese city centre regeneration under the guidance of urban rail transit is to diversify integrated urban regeneration. But it still has many problems.According to similar conditions, such as renewal background, land scale and renewal objectives, the typical cases of Tokyo and Tianjin, Hong Kong and Shenzhen are compared respectively from four aspects. Moreover, based on the successful experience of developed areas in Asia, this paper sums up a comprehensive planning system of city centre regeneration under the guidance of urban rail transit, and points out its strategies:we should adopt compact diverse land use, people-oriented and three-dimensional public space, continuation of historical and cultural heritage and three-dimensional transportation system. |
