To guarantee the safety of ship sailing on the sea, the ship hull strength calculation is an important measure.Can be largely reduced because of the hull structure caused by failure of average phenomenon.Under normal circumstances and ship hull strength checking to design at the same time to start.Under the premise that ensure the safety of navigation of ships, but its economy at the same time.Through the study of the optimization design of hull structure, reduce the important of the vessel, increase the weight of the vessel, so as to improve efficiency.In this paper, the main methods and main conclusions obtained:First according to the requirements of the specification, the design of a16000DWT oil tanker ship.With reference to the mother ship, to determine the ship’s main dimensions, lines, general arrangement, stability, loading condition, etc.Then under the premise of tanker cargo oil tank section on evaluation and analysis of structural strength, to ensure the strength conforms to the norms of the ship.Second according to the design of oil tanker, understanding of oil tanker cargo oil tank structure type and structure arrangement, and then complete the structure finite element analysis, ANSYS software to create1/2+1+1/2three compartment mathematical model;On the basis of tanker structure of loading condition of common specification requirements applied load;According to the gravity of the tanker, buoyancy distribution of the shear and bending moment of each segment end face; The boundary condition is chosen inertial release;Finally it is concluded that the stress as a result, the stress is greater than the allowable stress of local optimization structure or change size.In the end this paper uses the particle swarm algorithm for transverse bulkhead structure size optimization.Through the introduction of the origin of the particle swarm algorithm and its theoretical part is described, and the constrained optimization problems under the condition of how to use the algorithm to supplement, finally through the test function to evaluate the results of simulation analysis, it is concluded that the particle swarm algorithm can be effectively applied to structural optimization of the ship.Finally through optimizing result:the weight of the single transverse bulkhead reduced by9.3%.Through the calculation of the above research, we can see that the whole cargo oil tank section stress of the situation is not very high, find out the insufficient strength of structure strengthening appropriately, intensity of excess structure appropriate to cut, to save material, reduce weight, thus improve the economic benefit; At the same time also can be concluded that the particle swarm algorithm is easy to operate, simple programming etc, can be used in the field of Marine engineering.
