Metropolis is a special pattern of modern city. As the organic carrier of city’sessential culture and environmental system, urban landscape system is urged to besettled up and to support the integrity and sustainable development of urban spaces.And as the balanced transition between growing request of social culture andtraditional-modern city power lasting as well. During the procedure of urbanization,research of urban spaces in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong are not concerned withdynamic value tropism, which leads to the separation between social substance andsocial activities, people and spaces, landscape levels and social principles, landscapesymbols and sense. Social life of people in the metropolis therefore couldn’t totallymatch the system of urban landscape. The article made integration of materials fromwestern and China, coming up with the ultimate idea which is to build the system ofadaptable metropolis landscape, and giving the corresponding solutions to the presentdilemma existed in our country’s metropolis.Firstly, with the review and analysis of the corresponding resources from home andabroad, the article amplifies the character of metropolis and its landscape, whichexplain the necessity and urgency to set up the system of urban landscape value system.Secondly, through the elaboration of the procedure of value tropism evolution andinfluential elements-from perspectives of aesthetics, economy, social effects andecology-and matching different people(including the government, designers,developers and the public) with dynamic values, the article lays the groundwork for thelatter part of the article. The later part of article describes adaptable metropolislandscape from the perspectives of accessibility, humanized space and interaction, withthe field research of Shanghai, Hangzhou, Hong Kong and comparison amongspecialized urban home and abroad, coming up with the necessary sense to buildChina’s metropolis landscape value system.
