With the rapid development of communication and electronic technology, large-screen vehicle information systems are increasingly living into people’s life, changing people’s car lifestyle. Now there are very few scholars that have done researches for the vehicle information system with a17-inch large screen at home and abroad, and studies of the availability of the big-screen vehicle information system are not deep enough. In the era of the user experience, a sort of big-screen vehicle information systems without high availability will fail to win the favor of consumers.The article studied the micro-interaction design of big-screen vehicle information systems based on some basic theory of usability design、ergonomics and micro-interaction design. The research process is divided into four parts:First, the article studied and analyzed the in-vehicle information systems, introducing the features and problems of the big-screen in-vehicle information systems. Then it explained the concept of usability design method and micro-interaction design theory, and described the relationship between them. After analyzing the factors that will have an great effect on the design of big-screen vehicle information systems, the article puts forward the usability principles for micro-interaction design for big-screen vehicle information systems and the design process for big-screen vehicle information systems. Finally, it proved the rationality of the usability principles for micro-interaction design and the design process for big-screen vehicle information systems through the practice of large-screen vehicle information system micro interaction design.
