Wall Stress Analysis Of Reinforced Concrete Underground Granary Based On The Space Stress

Grain safety has significant effect to national security and social stability, and theproblem of grain storage is an important part to guarantee grain safety. Since1998,our country has constructed grain granaries with capacity of more than one hundredmillion catties. However most of the new granaries are above the ground. Thetemperature in them becomes too high easily, thus influencing the grain storagequality. Therefore, it is necessary to develop new methods for green grain storage.Underground granary has natural advantages of low temperature, strongconcealment and land saving, which satisfies the requirements of green grain storage.In ancient times, our country had used underground environment for grain storage.After our country was established, some underground granaries have been built. Butthese granaries were restricted by terrain and their sizes were small, which wentagainst modern machinery operation. In recent years, researchers have developed avariety of modern underground granary, out of which cylindrical structure becomesone of the most suitable granary structure because its stress is reasonable and it hasstrong applicability. The main research content of this article as bellows：（1）Explores the internal force of reinforced concrete underground granary wall inspace stress to get the stress and strain law of it. Obtaining the reinforcement stress ofwall by testing the underground simulation granary with steel bar meter and earthpressure box.（2）Analyze the wall stress with complicated load using the method of finiteelement. The whole model of underground granary is built using finite elementsoftware ANSYS. The condition of internal force distribution in space force and itsdifference with results of only considering the wall are obtained. Then the dangerousposition of the granary wall in space stress is pointed out.（3）Analyzes possible situations may be encountered during construction andusing stage, and the granary wall stress under all kinds of working conditions, gettingtheir influence to granary wall and dangerous working conditions.
