Reflection And Practice Of Modern Landscape Concept In Campus Planning

University as a cultural oasis and cradle of talent, is of landscape planning and design aspects of the existence of the particularity of landscape planning and design, as well as a certain generality. University campus, as a carrier of cultural matters, which reflects the university landscape, is more humanistic in terms of spiritual content. In this paper, the development at home and abroad, many references and many case studies of college planning and design abroad, are all researched to explore the university campus landscape design and planning as well as relevant theories, principles, and the combination of the Architecture Design requirements. The paper also summarizes the main elements of landscape design, and conducts in-depth study of the campus landscape planning and design methods and levels.This article, from campus culture, landscape design and planning, discussed the concrete points of campus landscape planning and design, and the methods as well. By means of researching history, nature, and culture, which are achieved by the means design to shape the atmosphere to reflect the unique culture of university and spiritual meanings. These means of studies are essence of this research and university landscape planning and design. Finally, the author researched the actual participation in the landscape planning and design of the new campus site of Xinjiang Institute of the Arts, to reflect the author’s true intentions. University campus as an environment for the development of students, exerts a subtle influence on them, and becomes a driving force for social progress. So this study, from the behavior of teachers and students as well as the characteristics and physiological needs of the history and culture of colleges and universities, seeks a good connotation of better quality and high taste of landscape environment. And this study is also hoped to benefit future planning and design of university campus landscape and play an important role in guidance and exert a profound impact on it.
