Study On Landscape Planning And Plant Landscape Of Harbin Institute Of Technology

As an important part of public landscape planning, campus landscape planning has been paid more and more attention. It has connected closely with the change of history, natural condition, social life as well as the level of search of college itself. Today's rejuvenating the country through science and education, with the reform of the higher educational form, both educational conception and teaching method changed greatly. Thus, some higher and newer demand about construction and design are put forward. Each college has its particular historical background, cultural accumulation. The master of modem landscape architecture raised that coexistence of man and environment was the landscape architect's practical aim. College as a place which is used for teaching will be the best reflect of this theory. As the main part of campus landscape planning, plant landscape design will take the most of different match of plants, and make a colorful and refreshing nature landscape.This article adopts approach of comparison and analysis. First, we analyzed history, cultural background and present condition of making green with plants of higher campus with horizontal comparison. We summary the present condition as well as developing direction of college landscape planning, especially in our country, and confirm the location and the shortcoming of Harbin Institute of Technology. Secondly we analyze the form of landscape planning, diversity of woody plant, ratio of arbor and shrub .ratio of coniferous and broadleaf and stereoscopy. We make objective comment on original landscape planning of Harbin Institute of Technology. We also use comprehensive analysis to analyzed the design and practice of campus' rebuilding of Harbin Institute of Technology in these ten years. We obtain advantage that worth spreading and using for reference. We raise the disadvantage as well as the advices of improve. At last, with the raising of further project of Harbin Institute of Technology, we put this theory into practice, and provide rational plan and suggestion for development and construction as well as campus landscape planning and design of Harbin Institute of Technology .
