With the development of photovoltaic technology, the launching system, whichfunctions in ways like target detecting, tracking, aiming and beam launching, iswidely applied in all kinds of modern platforms. One of the most important factorsaffecting its precision on aiming and tracking target is the optical parallelism. This paper illustrates the all-sky detection of the optical parallelism utilizing thevisible-light detector on the system, the design and manufacturing of the device isdone, so are relevant experiments for the verification.Firstly, the mathematical relationship of beam path is defined by coordinatetransformation and vector rotation. The connection between precision and factorsaffecting it is analyzed in detail, including rotation of reflectors, angle of beamvector, angle of the device, deformation due to the gravity and rotation of the device. The main resources of errors are listed, and strategies to improve precision areexplained, especially the way to get rid of error brought in by deformation andprocedure to standardize e.Then, the device and its components are introduced, so is the alignment. Thedeformation experiment and optical parallelism detection test are done, and afterdata processing, the results indicate that the all-sky optical parallelism detection isfeasible and effective. At last, improvement of the device is done against its shortage, and it is proved, by analysis and verification, that the device after improvement willfunction better on both precision and performance, which makes it easy to achievealignment and detection. Finally, the whole work is summarized, expounding thecharacteristics of all-sky optical parallelism detection in detail, emphasizing itsadvantage and importance, and predicting the future prospect of the method.
