In the test of multi-spectral wide distance optical axis parallelism and structure parallelism for the artillery control system, calibrating the central axis parallelism and discrete axis parallelism with the same standards is a problem. For example, in the artillery control system, Parallelism about aiming axis(television camera, thermal infrared imager, laser range finder and so on )for each other, as well as gun bore axis. Most usefully method for checking multi-spectral optical axis parallelism is large—aperture autocoUimator, but this is not suitable for anything, such as the system whose distance is alterable. Considerating this point, the text presents a new checking method, the installation is combined with collimator and extend caliber system. the discrete axis which are far from the center are guided to the collimator by the special designed extend arm, that will not only make the problem easier, but also ensure the precision. The text introduce the best method for checking parallelism, structure design and analysis of the error.
