With the improvement of living standards, the number of abandoned textile is increasing year by year. According to the survey data, Cotton and hemp fibers account for52%of the amount of the waste fiber. The abandonment behavior not only caused a tremendous waste of resources, but also caused a pollution and fire hidden trouble in the subsequent processing. So how to make waste fiber recycled become a urgent problem waiting for solve of china.With the Chineses’ requirements of the building heating become higher and higher, total energy consumption of our country’s building heating also increased sharply. Using waste fiber and polyurethane product building insulation board to reduce waste treatment problem, reduce the energy consumption in the construction industry, improve the utilization rate of waste, make high value-added exhibit, reduced cost, at the same time reduce the pollution to the environment.This paper selected waste cotton and hemp fibers as enhanced materials, together with TPU, They were made into composite fiberboard by the melt-mixing and hot-pressing method. With the short fiber reinforce composite material through the hot press forming process and recombinate polyurethane rigid foam to make three layer composited lightweight insulation board. In order to study the different fibre composition, different forming process on the mechanical properties of plate and the influence of thermal conductivity, and analyzes the relationship between the two. Select tensile strength, bending strength and impact strength for testing index, choose cotton and linen ratio, TPU content, hot pressing temperature, hot pressing pressure four factors do the orthogonal test analysis. Through the analysis of variance, poor analysis, single factor test draw four factors insulation board of various performance relationship, considering its mechanical properties and thermal properties determine the optimal process, hot pressing temperature:180℃, hot pressing pressure:10MPA, flame retardanted TPU content:60%, cotton and linen matching:40/60; Using orthogonal test to Optimize flame retardant additives of matrix and fiber to test the limited oxygen index, using variance analysis to discuss the influence of the flame retardant addition on mechanical properties and the flame retardant effect, cost problems to determine the best craft. The best craft:TPU flame retardant15%, APP20%, TPU content60%, cotton and linen ratio40/60.Conduct fiber surface modification treatment for cotton and hemp fiber to enhance the mechanical properties of fibreboard. Composite the system of the fibre board and polyurethane rigid foam compositeand select the thickness of composite board and adhesive. According to the construction standard physical and chemical properties of composited insulation board are comprehensive tested. The optimal process of composite insulation board: hot pressing temperature of180℃, hot pressing pressure10MPa, hot pressing time is10min. tensile strength is39.49MPa, bending strength34.56MPa, impact strength is6.73KJ/m2, moisture content is0.3%, bibulous ply inflation rate is0.2%, dimensional shrinkage under heat±0.2%, high and low temperature size change rate is±2.5%.
