With the rapid development of slurry pipeline technology, diaphragm pump, as thepipeline transportation equipment used for solid-liquid two-phase slurry, is widely usedin industries of chemical, electricity, mining, metallurgy and other industries. Thediaphragm pump is deeply studied both at home and abroad in order to develop kinds ofpump which are more superior. Hydraulic pump is a kind of new diaphragm underdevelopment. It adopts hydraulic system as the power end, which simplifies thestructure greatly and reduces the cost significantly. It has the advantages of highpressure, high efficiency, no pulsation of flow rate, low maintenance, small size andother advantages, which has wide application prospect. Control system is the vital partof hydraulic diaphragm pump. Its accuracy, sensitivity and reliability can directly affectthe performance and development of the pump.This thesis makes research and development of the control system of hydraulicdiaphragm pump. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, the authorelaborates the study background and research status of diaphragm pump both at homeand abroad. The study content is also described, making the necessity and significanceof the development of hydraulic diaphragm pump clearly. In the second chapter, theauthor analyzes the components and working principle of the hydraulic diaphragmpump, the control requirements is made clearly and the design scheme of the controlsystem is determined. In the third chapter, the author mainly develops and designshardware of the control system, which includes the development of the hydraulic systemcontrol unit and the selection and design of hardware. The author makes research anddevelopment of sensor devices detecting the position and rupture of the diaphragm. TheAltium Designer software is used to design the circuit schematic of the display unit. Thedisplay and operation panel shape are also designed. In the forth chapter, the authorelaborates the development and design of the software of control system. It includesmastering the requirements of the control system, identify the design ideas of thecontrol procedures and design procedure diagram. According to the controlrequirements and technical indicators of different control objects, the correspondence program segment is designed. The final simulation test is made after finishing eachprogram segment. In the fifth chapter, the author makes a concise summary and putsforward their own expectations of the development of the control system of thehydraulic diaphragm pump.The control system of hydraulic diaphragm pump has advantages of accurate,sensitive, and reliable. Furthermore timely data display, flexible action adjustment,convenient operation, easy understand of display and operation and other advantages,which achieve the control purpose and meet the control requirements.
