Most areas in China is an earthquake-prone area, is the most strong earthquakes inthe world one of the most serious countries and disasters, the reasons for all previousearthquake damage, the main reason is the seismic resistance of the building is too low.At present, our country is about more than400old buildings, there are quite a part doesnot meet the current building seismic design code. Rational, the reinforcement andreconstruction of existing buildings can not only reduce the resource waste, can alsospeed up the construction progress, this for both the individual and society, the state hasfar-reaching influence. On the premise of considering economic and practical and safe,improve both the seismic performance of buildings, seismic strengthening technologyresearch is of great significance.This paper introduces the structure of the commonly used ones are strengtheningmethods, discusses the reinforcement method of theoretical calculation, and theadvantages and disadvantages of the scope of application and its construction process;Through the identification of practical engineering structure reinforcement design,summed up the basic process of structure reinforcement engineering the structureidentification, the choice of reinforcement scheme and the implementation of thereinforcement scheme.In example project reinforcement used in the process of adding change shear wallstructure system and the structure arrangement, through the paste of the fiber reinforcedcomposite material reinforced frame column and increase the ductility of the column.After compared with before reinforcement, strengthening the natural vibration period ofstructure is reduced, the structure of the seismic bearing capacity of comprehensiveability, have improved significantly. Paste is obtained by the engineering examples infiber reinforced composite materials and additional seismic shear wall to change thestructure system is a more practical and fast method.
