Errors in structural structural design and construction of buildings not only induce structural faults, but also effect structural safety. Accordingly some study on this aspect is required.In according with the study of "errors in structural design and construction of buildings", some systematical study is summarized as follows: (1)Errors in design and construction of the brace system are studied on the basis of the principle of brace design, and some strengthening methods are proposed. (2)The relationship of vertical setting of column-and-brace and bearing capacity of the light-weighted building with portal frames is studied through non-linear finite analysis, and meanwhile the reasonable setting of brace is discussed. (3)The cause of stressed cracks in concrete construction is discussed, and some practical structure project is analyzed with some relevant strengthening methods introduced. (4)Through analyzing cause of the cracks of reinforced concrete and brick construction with concrete frames in its bottom one story, some errors in structural design are analyzed, which induced the crack of concrete frames in its bottom story, and finite analysis method on the condition of the interaction of superstructure, foundation and subsoil is discussed with some methods to avoid relevant crack introduced.
