With the development and application of electric light, the needs of daylight in buildings has reduced greatly, thus, the deep constraint of building has been relaxed. Since the increasing limitation of construction land, as well as accelerating complexion of architecture functions, the form of architecture becomes more and more centralized. In addition, in this era with visual forms explosion, modeling in the architectural design has captured highly award. But the genuine construction quality and the interior environment have been wondered, especially interior light environment. In the architectural design process, problems such as interior glare, insufficient illumination, interior hot or cold and other issues due to little consideration of nature daylight have a seriously effect on comfort of the environment. In the perspective of humanity, people’s physical demands for lighting are met easily, but the psychological needs are often difficult to be solved in a simple manner. There have lack of contacts between building internal and external environment, then, architecture space become boring, no vitality and artistic appeal.With the main theme of daylight usage in architecture design, this paper try to make some significant strategies of daylight use with the perspective of architecture design, and to summarize a more appropriate method of natural lighting design. This article analyzes the methods of natural lighting design by the step of architecture design, which can make the daylight usage integrates with architecture design closely, so as to help architects to do natural lighting plan. This paper mainly contains site analysis, the overall design and detail design of natural lighting as well as puts forward corresponding design strategy in every process, thus conducts an in-depth, comprehensive research on natural lighting. In practice section, with the writer’s participation of Huigu creative industry park in Nanchang program, this paper sums up natural lighting strategies in practice design process, and analysis the effects generated by relevant strategic with the light environmental analysis software.
