The development of sports undertakings facilitate the spread of our nationwide fitnessprogram and daily physical activity nowadays is of great importance to people’s life.Therefore, the research on healthy environment of gymnasium,as an integral part of healthyhuman settlement, is becoming increasingly essential.Gymnasium is a building type that has vast space and dense population and which is animportant carrier of the spread of nationwide fitness program. With the development ofscience and technology, the effect that adjusting the gym environment by architecture designgradually wearing off. It appears that the pursuit of comfort consequences excessivedependence on variety facilities and technology,and makes gymnasium gradually lost theability for spontaneous accommodation. What is most outstanding is luminous environment ofgym space. Long-term dependence on artificial luminous has harmful effect to human body’svisual performance,hormone secretion and so on. Architecture designers have reached aconsensus that improve the luminous environment of gym space by taking fully advantages ofnatural light. However, the irrational combination of building design and natural lighting canalso impact the interior luminous environment. How to optimize the combination of theconstructive manners and natural lighting technology and use natural light reasonably is thekey problems to the paper.
