The Research Of Washing Machine Interface Prototype Of The Aged Based On Ergonomics

At present, our country has already entered an aging society, the world’s most populouscountry in the elderly, which is one fifth of the world’s aging population. However, the productdesign in our lives is aimed at young people, and only a few is suitable or specifically developedfor the elderly, especially the electrical appliances products. With the progress of science andtechnology, the electrical appliances products seem more and more distant from the old. So theproduct prototypes, suitable for the elderly, have profound significance to the development of anaging society. Based on the theory of human ergonomics, the thesis adopt the anthropology anddesign method to the elderly and the washing machine products, access to the elderlycharacteristics and washing machine product design, prototype design and complete the interfacedesign prototype experiments.First of all, by means of field research and product usability test, study the problem of theold behavior characteristics and product use, and put forward the old behavior characteristics andwashing machine product design opportunities;Secondly, in view of the above research information, establish the old washing machineproduct interface prototype experiment scheme from the layout, location relations, the keydimensions, font size, etc.;Furthermore, put the implementation scheme of interface prototype experiment into effect,and according to the experimental data interface prototype, sum up the washing machineinterface prototype products suitable for the elderly to use;Eventually, in accordance with the washing machine interface prototype suitable for theelderly to use, complete design application.
