Guertu river is located in east longitude83°40’~83°53’ north latitude44°10’~44°51’. Guertu of river source is located in the middle of north tianshan mountain rock’s shan do-ng section, the source of the ridge above sea level elevation is in commonly4000rn. Is a rivermainly supplied by glacier melt water. The river runoff10.9m3/s, averaged over many yearsmany years average runoff344.3million m3.From an altitude of1000out of the mountain pass to wu yi road near gao gan brakesection,25.5km long river, the river drop405m. The upper river in the piedmont inclinedplain pluvial fan, ground longitudinal slope is slow, flowing through the gravel gobi area,river leakage loss is bigger, wash cutting ability is poor, into a wide river bed.Guertu river has built water conservancy projects have Guertu, new and old feeding andGuertu river diversion main canal. Guertu curve of the new and old river irrigation system arebuilt sand basin, sluice gate and the gate. Guertu river main canal water diversion flow45m3/s average carrying capacity is304million m3, to ensure that the downstream irrigation area of500000mu of farmland irrigation water; New irrigation system, the main canal by Guerturiver total length of25km, after the old feeding to gao gan brake, then through political brakeby willow main canal and high main canal irrigation water.This project proposed Guertu river five power station is meet gul diagram4power afterthe tail water for power generation, and then put into six levels of tail water power stations togenerate electricity.
