Traction and braking information measurement and analysis system of rail vehiclemainly used in the test before leaving factory or after examine and repair to testwhether the train’s traction and braking performance is meet the standard or not.With the development of science and technology,people’s mode of transportationhas changed a lot.Train and subway became the mode of transportation closed topeople’s life in this modern society.High speed and convenient mode of transportationbrings convenient to the society also brings the risk,and people have already paied aterrible price for it.People all over the world expect rail vehicles can improve securityin all aspects,our country has been trying to improve the technical level of therelevant.Safety of EMU brake is the fundamental guarantee to the safe operation of thevehicle[1].At present, there are many EMU braking performance testing systems,butthese systems have some limitations on method for obtaining the vehicle data,and itrelying on level of operation person,lack of independence.Therefore the rail vehicletest field needs to research a traction and braking information measurement andanalysis system of rail vehicle which is more independent and convenient.According to the targets of the testing system,traction and braking informationmeasurement and analysis system of rail vehicle selected appropriate sensors,designedindependent software and hardware system,combined the software and hardwaresystem to form an independent,suit for multiple car types and convenient to installtesting system.This system tried to break through the limitation of the original system in ensuringthe basis of complete the detection task,to finish the test work better.The system usewireless way to send the related parameters collected from outside of the car to thehost computer system in the car.This kind of wareless way avoid the trouble of wiringand make the system more convenient to install.After the test on the train,the system completed the traction and braking test ofrail vehicle perfectly.Compared with the previous test systems this system is moreindependent and make up some deficiencies of the original systems.
