Comparison And Selection Of Grain Cargo Outbound Transportation Scheme For Nong’an County

Ever since the beginning of the21stcentury, customers have been holdingincreasingly high expectations for the services of cargo transport as their economicstandard of living rises. The speed of delivery has become a key criterion for themeasurement of customers’ satisfaction. They are no longer satisfied with the deliveryof goods to stations, but instead, require goods to be sent to their houses in time. Thecustomer demand in cargo transport has transferred from “few varieties, large quantity,few batches and long cycle” to “many varieties, small quantity, many batches andshort cycle”. Laggard system and mechanism cannot meet people’s increasingrequirement for services, thus, cargo transport needs to be adjusted in accordance withthe changes of customer demand. The selection of the mode of transport is one of thesignificant parts, which influences the time, costs, quality and services of cargotransport. Nong’an County is located between Changchun and Songyuan City, and iswithin the one-hour economic circle of Changchun City. It has broad prospects foreconomic development and convenient transport with Changbai railway and manyexpressways running through it. How to play the advantages of grain cargo outboundtransportation of Nong’an County which has the core resource advantages of railway,highway, and effectively convergences northeast coast grain terminal to export tradeand transit business, is one of the key factors to realize regional economic growth.The appropriate transportation scheme selection has far-reaching implications forgrain cargo outbound transportation, and also helps promote the increase ofagricultural economy.In this thesis, we had an in-depth research about cargo transportation schemeselection and related theories and methods, the main research work were as follows:Firstly, we introduced the research background and research significance of thisarticle, and made a comparison about cargo transport between domestic and foreign, and expounded the influence factors of cargo transportation scheme selection.Secondly, we had made an introduction to the current situation of the transportation ofcounty agriculture, and drew a conclusion that we should develop the graintransportation in Nong’an County. Once more, we pointed out that there were richtransportation cargos by adopting Grey forecasting methods. In the end, Finally, weproposed the objective and mathematical models about cargo transportation schemechoice, solved the paper model based on the algorithm design and genetic algorithm,the paper gave some combination about the transportation mode of grain cargotransportation, and it had an important guiding significance.
