Research On The Cultivation Of The Industrial Engineering Students’Employability Ability Based On The QFD Method

With the education mode of "elite education" transforming to "mass education", higher education has made great development in our country, with the rapid development of higher education, on the one hand, Industrial engineering’research scope is expanding, the research contents constantly enrich and deepen, on the other hand, the employing units constantly change their ability requirements of students majoring in industrial engineering. For the reason that most universities haven’t made a timely and effective adjustment on the cultivation of the industrial engineering major, the education of the universities can not match the demands of the employing unit in recent years, graduates face a difficult employment situation.Taking the industrial engineering major of NC university as an example, through investigating and analyzing the present situation, find out the problems of employment ability, Using QFD (quality function deployment) method, this paper starts from the demand of the employing unit, builds the QFD model of employment ability cultivation of the industrial engineering students. At the same time, establishes the HOQ of employing unit requirements-employment ability, HOQ of employment ability-training plan, HOQ of training plan-management monitoring quality. To achieve the function transformations from (employing unit to the industrial engineering students’demand) to the students’employment ability, from the students’ employment ability to training scheme, and from the training plan to the management and monitor. Get the importance degree of each index in each module as a training focus to improve employment skills.Finally, in view of the problems and analysis, put forward some countermeasures and suggestions on cultivating and improving the industrial engineering students employ ability, strive to improve the situation that the college education did’t meet the demands of the employing unit, strengthen graduate employment ability, improve the rate of employment, at the same time, it has guiding significance for the universities to perfect the education program of industrial engineering major.
