Focus on the cultivation of industrial design students’ creativity creative personality is an important aspect of creativity, and there are some differences between people, hence the need for targeted education. For the study of creative personality better service design teaching community to meet the needs of high-quality creative talents, and lay a solid foundation for future career development of students.This study selected the creation of industrial design professional representative several universities to conduct research in Hangzhou, scale testing by several universities in the students collected data, the statistical analysis found that Williams’ creativity and propensity score for each sub-there were no significant differences in gender and grade in comparison, a challenge which has significant differences, there was no other significant differences only between different professional categories.Data Compare16personality factors, the girls in intelligence, sensitivity, significantly higher than the boys, boys for sex dare significant than girls; sophomore on the immutability significantly higher than junior,junior students in the tension was significantly higher than sophomores; art students in gregariousness, excitement, sensitivity, fantasy, significantly higher than the sophistication of the science and engineering students, science and engineering students was significantly higher than in the independence of the arts class students.16PF Williams in comparison with the total score of creativity tends to breakdowns, the former (score) and the gregarious16PF, stability, aggressiveness, excitability, dare, self-discipline presents the0.01level (0.05level showed a significant correlation (bilateral) total score and perseverance, the experimental on; was significantly associated with bilateral) on. Needs students in the educational process independent problem-solving skills and teamwork awareness and find a balance.
