University Industrial Design Creativity Is Commercialized Research

Only when the innovative industrial designs become the commodity, their value is fully shown. However, most colleges, which have built the major of industrial design, haven't set up the idea of commercial innovative thinking into courses. There is a common phenomenon: although lots of college students have great innovative designs, they cannot put these good designs into real item and sell them into the market. The potential value included is ignored by time.On the other side, the students from the industrial design major has no much experience at commodity product design, so that their innovative ideas could not reach customer's request at last. This is a tough question in the procedure of teaching industrial design. I am recommending here that putting the idea of "make the innovative ideas into great products" into the basic design courses into daily courses is a good way to solve the tough question. Now it comes the question of " how to build up a system, which can easily make students' great innovative idea into real products and show their huge value?". Herewith my research on this system making suggestion , which is based on the great project supported by China Academy of Art-Zhijiang Xiangshang Branch's Art Commendation Setting. With many successful experiences on the commercial innovative design reaching and analyses of the situation and relationship among China Academy of Art, OEM enterprises and marketing strategies, we hope to build up a way to link the innovative design from students and market commodity. That is: I-Market inside the Zhijiang Xiangshang Branch's Art Commendation Centre. The innovative design can become a real commodity and how their huge values. And also encourage students think deep on commodity structure and build up a principle on "industrial design procedure. All these above is at service aim of making college education and social value become a partner and win-win at the end.
