Study On Human Safety Evacuation In Furniture Store Fire

With the topic as safe evacuation from furniture mall in fire, this thesis aims to systematically demonstrate the whole process of safe evacuation in furniture mall by consulting literature, field research, numerical calculation, theoretical analysis, software simulation and filed test. The main content includes the identification of relevant theory and analysis method during the evacuation, the calculation of parameter related to the evacuation conducted through empirical formula and specific computation, the FDS+Evac simulation program based on four typical evacuation scenes resulted from research and the impact on evacuations in different scenes with the analysis from the experiments. The results can be concluded as follow:1. According to research, most of the furniture malls are designed strictly in accordance with the national with the aspect like emergency exit and the net width of floors. The breadth for100people can be conducted by the actual measurement of the maximum of stream of people thus to reduce the net breadth of emergency exit and reduce economic waste.2. Although there were some minor differences between the statistic obtained from stimulation program and those from evacuation experiment, a generally similar linear rule revealed that the number of evacuees is in proportion to the amount of evacuation time and the number of emergency exit is in inverse proportion to the amount of evacuation time.3. The location of the emergency exit is closely linked to the people through that specific exit during evacuation. The evacuees tend to choose the emergency exit located at the azimuth regions with clear sign of exit. As a result, most people go to the emergency exit easy to be found, while less people go to the emergency exit in remote area.4. Although there is a law between the number of evacuees through a specific emergency exit and the amount of evacuation time under different circumstance of flow of people, the location of emergency exit is not directly linked to the amount of evacuation time. When the emergency exit is blocked, the flow of people only has minor impact on the evacuation time.
