The increasing application of UAVs has set off a craze study on the UAV data link in many countries around the world. A variety of high-performance UAV data link have emerged in an endless stream, most of which are only for the UAV communication based on one-station one-machine mode. In order to expand the investigation scope and distance of the UAV, we need to develop a suitable UAV data link for one-station multi-machine mode. Since the UAVs have the features of the dynamically changed network topology and multi-hop networking, the networking technology of UAV data link has become a research hot spot. In addition, as the UAV moves faster, a fast entering/exiting network scheme and time synchronization scheme are also very necessary.Combed with the present development status and trend of UAV data link at home and abroad, the overall network architecture and network frame structure is designed based on the analysis of key technologies of the UAV data link, and the networking technology of UAV data link is studied deeply, a network initialization scheme, entering/exiting network scheme and synchronization scheme based on the combination of omnidirectional and directional antennas in a large-scale investigation scene are proposed. The detailed analysis of network delay of the initialization scheme is given, and the relationship between the network initialization properties and network topology is given by using the MATLAB software, finally, the modeling and simulation of UAV data link are completed by using the OPNET software, and the networking performance is verified.
