Traction motor rotor is to pass the most critical components of the power and torque,which working under tremendous moment and torque,working environment is very bad. Locomotive is driving, braking, produce vibrations inevitably.Traction motor parts also bear the corrosion, vibration in multiple roles, stress and corrosion,traction motor shaft and pinion shaft will fracture damage in use for some time,safety and lifetime of locomotive causing very bad influence.Traction motors often have to operate at high speed,rotor at high speeds,so produce vibrations inevitably.If the same excitation frequency of traction motor rotor vibration frequency itself and the outside incentive,and into multiple relationships or similar,the traction motor will change dramatically vibration,which will have the additional load of meshing gears.Vibration may cause more rapid traction motor rotor failure or breakage.Combined with the status of traction motor rotor now,the papers about the practical application of the latest maturing traction motor rotor analysis,optimization and look for reasons so much.In recent years, traction motor rotor parts manufacturing technology improve constantly, but mostly from a single material, the process point of view,studied separately for the pinion shaft or small gear.This article is not for small gear shaft and shaft stress, strength analysis,optimization,Only to for its simple strength check.There is no improvement of the pinion shaft and the rotating shaft from a material,to increase its mechanical properties and to prevent it from corrosion.But several key parts of the traction motor,pinion shafts,shaft,circular end tooth flexible coupling,large screws and pins as a system to study,based on Pro/E software and Workbench software,various parts of the traction motor rotor parametric modeling,and the use of finite element technology for traction motor rotor system to simulate the modal analysis and critical speed analysis.Find out the first six order of traction motor rotor system formation and natural frequencies,according to the first six traction motor rotor order formation,the rotor system including the partial and integral of formation of reverse,oscillation and bending.In the high-speed operation of the traction motor,these are likely to result in traction motor rotor parts damage in advance,especially the circular arc teeth elastic coupling parts of rigid will largely affect the service life of tractot motor rotor.The determination of the traction motor rotor critical speed,to determine the speed of traction motor engineering practice provides effective basis,nether cause high speed reserves,and will not make the actual speed reach the critical speed and occur resonance,create traction motor rotor parts early damage,for the engineering application provides a theoretical basis.
