This paper elaborated the development history and present study situation of Magnetic Bearing, discussed the characteristic and working principle of Magnetic Bearing, and its extensive application field, these are indicated the appear of Magnetic Bearing will arouse the revolution of bearing technology.The paper begins with the basic theory of electromagnetism, narrated Maxwell equation group, the boundary condition of magnetic field and present general value calculation method separately, as an example, described design process of radial and axial magnetic bearing of electrospindle of grinding machine, and consider the influence of leak of magnetic flux, the paper analysed the bearing with Finite Element Method, and according to the result, determined the structural parameter.In this paper, considering the flexible supporting property and rotor flexibility of electrospindle, established Finite Element model, and made modal analyses, reached mode of vibration and each step natural frequency of rotor, accordingly got each step critical rotational speed of rotor. In rotor dynamic balance, adjust these critical rotational speeds, make it properly deviate from mechanical working rotational speed, to get reliable design.
