The ecological life suitable for human life is gradually becoming the new subject for both the environment and human living. It causes the extensive concern of the interdisciplinary science and research. At present, the field of interior design, interior decoration materials used in general often use non-renewable scarce resources, the material production bring huge environmental pollution, but also makes the interior decoration extremely high, the waste of resources caused a series of ecological environment problems. In other ways, not only in terms of material, the current interior design also has a lot of problems, such as design style, the excessive pursuit of luxury, mostly using the precious metal, polished stone, wood and advanced materials such as glass, these are inconsistent with the sustainable development of interior design, even can directly lead to the acceleration of environmental resources dry up; And most of the decoration is a synthetic industrial material, which contains a large amount of harmful chemicals, for people there can be said to be the long-term damage; Interior design style update too fast, a lot of non-renewable decoration materials are discarded and dismantled in the process of decorate again, and for the non-renewable resources, it is a great waste, but also causes great pollution to the environment.For so many disadvantages of the contemporary interior design, we need to find effective means aiming at design theory, way of thinking and practice, green ecological interior design is raised at the moment, more and more people put the attention to theadvantages of the ecological design. Ecology is the development direction of human architectural design; interior design is the development direction of the human and the nature harmonious coexistence.How to make ecological interior design are not just to save on material, adopt low pollution environmental protection material, but also need stylist innovating the design concept, putting more consideration of indoor ecological space structure. For natural ventilation, lighting, energy-saving lighting and other factors, the first is the coexistence between the design and the natural harmonious, the second consideration of ecological design is that the design is a humanized design, it can be recycled and keep sustainable development.Ecological interior design has brought fresh air of contemporary design concept for us, it emphasizes the ecological idea, giving full consideration to the natural environment and human harmony, more using of natural resources to solve existing problems such as the design of daylighting, ventilation and so on, using new technology to bring the design innovation. Ecological interior design makes the real realize of the sustainable development.In this paper, we study on the theory of ecology and ecological interior design. The combination of Indoor and theoretical design is the development direction of the modern interior design. Under the lead of ecological design, old concept of interior design will be changed; it will be the new trend in the development of modern interior design. This paper discusses the present situation at home and abroad of ecological design development in details and analyzes the existing problems, the relative concepts of ecological interior design are discussed in detail, including the origin of ecological interior design, development, design principles, design goals, design features and design content, theory of ecological interior design is also done in-depth discussion,including the guiding ideology, basic measures of ecological interior design and implementation of external conditions, the strategy of the development of ecological interior design in our country, etc. And there is a comprehensive analysis of detailed content of ecological interior design, including the study of the problem such as space design, daylighting, ventilation, finally combining the theory of ecological interior design with Chinese characteristics, we analyzes the excellent ecological interior design case.
