A Study And Design On Maritime Search And Rescue System

In the process of maritime search and rescue after the accident, the rescue target is so far away from the coast that it’s out of the range of the signal of communication base station, search and rescue ships is hard to get in touch with it. GPS satellite positioning system isn’t popularized in domestic small fishing boats because of its high price, so after the accident rescue methods have not been solved effectively about fishing boats and fishermen in the sea.This topic will develop a low cost maritime search and rescue system based on radio direction-finding, distance measuring technology. The system will locate and track the drownings by radio beacon signal. It’s mainly used in maritime accident rescue. In the domestic, the puzzling problems of searching and rescuing fishermen that will be solved effectively.The search and rescue system is mainly composed of the antenna, beacon set and search machine. The direction finding system is designed through the method of combination of doppler direction finder technology and the technology of phase interferometer direction finding. The method ensures the accuracy of direction finding and simplifies the circuit design; By choosing low noise, high gain transceiver integrated circuit and optimizing the design of receiver circuit, long distance transmission of signal in the sea is ensured; The miniaturization and low power design about beacon set ensure that the beacon is easy to carry and its cost is low.This paper describes in detail the overall design of the system, scheme selection, determines the system indicators, puts forward the detailed hardware and software solutions for each function module, and analyses the key indicators, then validates them.
