In recent years, the urban railway transportation is favored by the general public because of high speed and safety. The interlocking system as an important part of signal system is the key devices which is responsible for the safety of train’s running. The interlocking software is the core software in interlocking system, and its safety and reliability is very important for the normal operation for the whole urban railway system. The control technology on traditional railway interlocking is very mature,but the technology on urban railway interlocking remains to be digging. Comparing with traditional railway interlocking system, the urban railway interlocking system is similar, but different. On this background, this thesis studies the interlocking software for urban railway signal system.Firstly, this thesis analyses the characteristics in transportation mode and train’s route for urban railway transportation. On the basis of this, this thesis puts forward the demand and the structure of urban railway interlocking system. The Interlocking relationship in urban railway interlocking system is very simple. A set of interlocking system in the central station can realize the all interlocking function in many small stations even the whole line. On the basis of the function of urban railway interlocking system, this thesis analyzes the requirements of urban railway interlocking software from signal, switch and route. And on the basis of control process of the route, this thesis designs the urban railway interlocking software in modular.According to the process and method of EN50126 standard, the thesis identifies the risks when interlocking software is failure. Aiming at the two risk sources of switch error action and signal upgrade show, this thesis analyzes and evaluates the risk sources by the consequences and reasons analysis based on fault tree. In order to avoid these risks, the methods of software safeguard technology and data safeguard technology is proposed in the designing of interlocking software.Then, this thesis analysis the conditions and process of control right switching between the central workstation and station workstation. The central station sends out the control command to the train on the basis of the schedule information and the actual running situation,and it is responsible for the train’s running on all line. When the equipment in central station is failure or can’t communicate with the other devices, the interlocking equipment will switch the control right from the central workstation to the station workstation. And this thesis focuses on the designing on the center station control mode. on the basis of the schedule information, ATS system will send the information of the first stop train to the interlocking system, and the system will analyze the route command and responsible for arranging the route. This thesis completes the process using Visual C++ programming language in Windows environment.Finally, for the urban railway interlocking system, this thesis designs the process of route operating in parallel multitasking and centrally controlling. The program is divided into two layers, the upper level is the scheduling layer and the lower layer is the module layer. In the process, the parsing module parses the button command firstly, and then the searching module searches out a route which is matching the interlocking logic according to the button command. Then according to the interlocking process, the route manage module checks the compliance of the selecting and arranging to the route, lock the route, open the signal and unlock the route in queue. The thesis simulates the process of arranging the route, unlocking the route and canceling the route, and verifies the important role in improving urban rail interlocking software safety and reliability by the software safeguard technology and data safeguard technology.The study in this thesis helps to promote the key technology in urban railway interlocking system, and has an impact in promoting the research skills on domestic urban railway interlocking system.
